Sujeewa Prasannarachchi’s most popular romantic novel ‘Bonda Meedum’ will be transformed into a tele drama.
The muhurath ceremony of ‘Bonda Meedum’ was held at the Solis reception Hall in Pitakotte last week amidst the participation of distinguished guests including politicians, veteran artistes and media personnel.
Bonda Meedum will be directed by Chandika Wijesena who directed ‘Ithin Eeta Passe’ that was voted the most popular tele drama at the recent Raigam tele awards. Nilwala Group headed by Upul Jayasinghe will produce ‘Bonda Meedum’.
Bonda Meedum is the gripping love story of Sansala and Dhanuka and the lead roles will be played by Udari Warnakulasuriya and Saranga Dissasekara. The rest of the cast will include Buddhadasa Vithanachchi, Janak Premalal, Ananda Wickremage, Meena Kumari, Gihan Fernando, Gayan Wickremathilaka, Chandika Nanayakkara, Gayana Sudarshani, Madhani Malwatte, Rajith Hirna Chamikara, Gayesh Perera, Diana Niroshani, Vasanthi Gunawardana, Shan Bandu Weerasinghe, Akila Sandakelum, Udditha Premaratne and others.
The muhurath ceremony was anchored by well known Niroshan Premaratne.
